Let me remind you all that Obama deported one my best friends who had been here since he was 8 but had a dumb misdemeanor. I wish it could it have been exposed as this story, but it was Obama, so it was “cool” then. Stories like this where people of all sudden care bothers me. This goal keeper barely had any time here and you all act as if he is a citizen. It truly sucks, and hopefully he gets released, but at the end of the day, we can’t keep them all. And I say this as a latino who knows an ungodly amount of undocumented latinos with many sad stories and hardship, but the reality is we can’t keep them all and they are also very aware of this.
You understand certain Central and Southern American countries are being offered amnesty, because the CIA is actively disrupting their governments? It’s not “sad” stories, it’s corporate raiding of natural resources or drugs that fund the black ops.
Uh yes thank you, I’m Honduran. CIA actively sabotages our government. And guess what? Absolutely no amnesty for most Hondurans here living illegally. All of sudden Trump is president and everyone cares when obviously nothing will be done about it this administration. Next democratic administration this will be brushed under the table and people will still live undocumented and you people silent because you got the administration you were looking for
Took me several readings to get the details straight on this story. Not Ryan's fault. It's so counter-intuitive, not to mention counter-narrative. Is our government as out of control as it seems?
So, he was a Venezuelan soccer player, participated in demonstrations, fled due to persecution, and legally entered the U.S. after waiting for and attending his scheduled CBP One appointment. Meaning, he was processed and let through the border.
If he was legally processed, all his documents were fine, and he was granted asylum, how did he end up in detention for six months? That means he was detained long before Trump took office, so this can’t be blamed on his administration. Even the “criminalization of tattoos” argument wouldn’t have been a factor back then.
Was he randomly arrested because of his tattoos? If so, why was he detained for so long without a conviction or proper legal review? Or was this something that happened during his asylum process?
Because if everything was done legally, at what point did the system decide to throw him into detention and deport him?
Something doesn’t add up here. Can someone explain this to me?
My reading: He was detained at his CBP appointment in September, on suspicion of gang affiliation. His asylum hearing was scheduled for April. He was removed from maximum security detention on March 10/11 after convincing whoever that he wasn't a gang member. He was deported a few days later.
That's nice, but lawyers won't save anyone from anything in the end. We have to eradicate Capitalism and Abrahamism. They have to be exposed as evil, supremacist ideologies, and shat upon appropriately. Every day is a great day to kill billionaires or stop believing in the Jew God death cults. Think.
It is well known that the US does not know didleysquat about soccer while at the same time shaking in its boots because of the "terrorists" it made might be coming to finally get US!
Non of these people should be afforded a JOB in the government because being stupid, uneducated AND afraid is just a step too far out of bounds in my view.
It's just great to know that we are paying millions (20) per year to hold people who have done nothing wrong, besides fleeing oppression, and have them tortured in a PRIVATE torture facility just because they have a tattoo!
I bet my hat that many of the 1600+ Jan.6 criminals had tattoos too and I bet you that the inscriptions among the tattoos were not just about peace and love!
Our "justice system" was never just but now it is just fucked up!
I remember when Trump was last president, or when he was running for president before, he talked about sh*t hole countries. Well this is exactly what the US is now.
This is sheer fuckin madness.

I am not a Democrat. And journalists and whistleblowers that go against the intelligence/military state end up dead. This is America.

Yes
Our government wants all "colored" folks out....sheer racism
To paraphrase Matt Taibbi: This is a mathematically incalculable amount of incompetence.
Wow. America is in deep trouble.
America is fine. The U.S.A. is over. Stick a fork in it's ass. It's done.
I’m sorry, but this is kind of hard to follow.

This is fucked up. If the Trump administration desires credibility, they damn well need to admit when they are wrong.
But that would be always, no?
I believe what we have just seen is "human trafficking" The middle man has been removed and it is govt to govt now
I just donated to the lmmigrants Defenders Law Center.

Good luck, El Salvador.
There's no historical example of a Judeo-Christian Western "court system" that isn't primarily used to oppress the beloved "poor and needy". Fact.
Abolish Donald Trump. He's dumber than a bowl of pig shit.
