I have been posting the information about ordering Refaat's book on as many of the Substacks and YouTube videos as I can. I hope you will all do the same.
I may well have misread or misunderstood when first you sent a post telling us to buy it...And I thought it was to be adjudged by the Amazon sales...I rarely use them but my son ordered it on my behalf...I have not received it but thought that was down to the publisher's timescale etc; now it seems that those who ordered it through Amazon are potential scam victims... not sure what is going on but obviously wish for this remarkable Palestinians work to be honoured as it should. I admit to having no phone or use the various media stuff associated with it. To me a mobile phone is an ID card and a drug. Walk into a waiting room and see how many people AREN'T gazing into the little seductive screen! Jeff.
Let you down probably, by ordering Amazon, more than a week ago. Amazon now says out of stock also, but told me mine is coming in 2 to 3 weeks. I'm very much looking forward to it and hope it still helps. :)
"Demand for the book, which published last week, has been overwhelming and as a result we have run out of stock. We are a small, independent publisher and our ability to muscle printers into reprinting quickly is less than that of the big corporate houses. As a result, we may not be able to get your copy to you until after the holidays. Our apologies if that happens but you will receive it in early January. In the meantime, we’re really appreciative of your interest in the book and big thanks for ordering it.
Best,
Colin
I've never been so happy to not receive my order, the pro Palestinian movement is awesome!
Rather ironic that you kept pushing Amazon and now you are warning people not to use it because it may be a scam. Of course Amazon does not care. I ordered a copy for myself and one for my sister this morning from my local bookstore and will get it as soon as it is available. They always treat me right
Ryan, you just lost my support and Drop Site membership by promoting this very unrealistic single-sided interview in support of the YPG terrorist organization.
They have been a very useful tool and the puppets of US administrations in the region with the so-called (and well-written) "fighting with ISIS" scenario, occupied almost all of the oil fields and the half of the Syrian soils with the CENTCOM support until now, even if they were only 10% of the total Syrian population. This unnatural and unrealistic show is about to come to an end apparently.
You can believe whatever you want to believe, but with a significant amount of shame and being ridden with contradictions for either supporting or challenging the interests of military-industrial complex and Pentagon on issues like that.

There are copies of the book available at OR Books, the publisher.
Those might not count toward the list -- and are also out of stock, awaiting more printings
I ordered it about 1 month ago and I just received it… happy to have a copy. Hope it counts. Also, I am passing the voice among friends.
Thank you for doing this Ryan I ordered a copy from bookshop.org I believe I got that link from you.

Update: arrived today, very impressive binding
I just got this message from bookshop

I pre-ordered two copies from OR Books in August and received them as soon as the book was published.
We need to be patient, OR Books is a small publisher.
Local bookstores work too.
I ordered through my local bookstore "Understanding Hamas and why that matters" and received it within an acceptable time.
We should do that very often if we want our local bookstores to survive big corporations.

I hope my order counts. Got it in at 9:01 PST at bookshop.org.
