Shame on the USA. I refuse to vote for both sides that support a genocide

Israeli cowards that use their childish army to perform their evil deeds by killing civilians instead of fighting army to army.

I feel like I am watching a whole culture, a whole people being destroyed. The world of does not act. The Biden administration will not enforce an arms embargo. The UN will not send troops. Thank you for publishing this report. At least we can bear witness.

There is a 10,000 UN peacekeeping force in south Lebanon on the Lebanon/Israel border. More history & info in link. Israel has asked them to get out but UN countries involved refuse. US/Israel's destruction of Palestine and now Lebanon is demonic and cowardly. The main Israel tactic is dropping massive hi-tech bombs on civilians from the air. The Palestinians don't have an air force so don't have a chance. They are denied the right to resist this murder of their culture. Many Israeli bombers have been flown from US bases in Great Britain. My respect for Israel and US is now zilch, they attack innocent civilians and hospitals. Hospitals!! The courage of Palestinians is immense. This is insane.

It is most interesting to witness doctors such as Dr. Safia showing such compassion and courage as we witness the carnage and the genocide at the hands of Israel and its army of pathetic men and women who take delight in putting bullets through little children's brains.

The best thing Pope Francis could ever do is to make his stand in Bethlehem. He has an opportunity that is unequalled, to say "no" to genocide. He could even go to the West Bank, Beirut, or even Teheran, and say, “Not in our name, not on our watch.”

Let us also support UNRWA. If our governments won’t act in accordance with humanity, then we will. https://www.unrwausa.org/donate

Also we can all support the brave doctors who have gone to Gaza: https://palestinian-ama.networkforgood.com/projects/206145-gaza-medical-supplies-oct-2023

Or

Surgeons to Gaza

https://fajr.org/donate/

Let us make our donations to honor Aaron Bushnell, in memory of Hind Rajab, or Dr Jumann Afra, the mother of newborn twins killed by Israel using US bombs. Now, sorrowfully, we must also add Aysenur Ezgi Egyi and Matt Nelson’s name to our honor roll.

Here’s a petition to excommunicate Joe Biden: https://www.change.org/p/excommunicate-president-joe-biden-bf979783-ac08-4576-a53f-c786ea23dc9c

These are a few small things we can do. If we can do more, let us do more.

In 1999 Grace Halsell, Texan Christian, wrote "Forcing God's hand .. Why millions pray for a quick rapture and destruction of planet earth". Described as "A great expose of the strange marriage of convenience between the US Christian Right and Israel. ... They use one another. It's not about religion but about politics.".

Grace's conclusion after much enquiry and searching was ..."Each of us can then chose to define the character of our Creator, electing to follow a God of war or a God of universal peace and love." Halsell of course chose the God of Love. She is a heroine of mine, and I'm a male-god rejecting atheist, and a woman who believes in male/female equality.

It would be good if the Pope and other prominent religious leaders truly rejected the destruction of Palestine, but I think there's a big split in Christian thinking which has allowed this outrage to happen and it's not being confronted.

Thank you for your service, Dr. Hossam Abu Safia. The only service we should be applauding is that of saving lives.

A UN force made up of military from many nations, preferably from the global south, is needed to create a barrier between Israel and Palestinians, and help preserve remaining Palestinian lives. That along with an embargo on arms by western countries, might help.

And they could do that, if the GA would call a Uniting for Peace session and impose sanctions, and initiate a peacekeeping mission.

If the UN could have done anything to stop this, it would have happened in the last year.

Perhaps instead of speculating about how the nation-states which have been either silently watching or actively aiding genocide could suddenly, spontaneously change course, we should focus on what we as people can do ourselves to stop this, not governments.

Savagery. Today I was picketing with my sandwich boards at the entrance to a major university. One of the sandwich boards says: AMERICAS NEW FLAG, with the Israeli flag shown, this followed by (in bright red caps) SHAME and then Liberty and Justice for All. I received a few shouts of the expected - "antisemite!" one kid taking my picture while saying "thank you for being clear about your antisemitism". I have also pasted a photo of Bezalel Smotrich with his quote about it being moral to let 2 million Gazans starve to death.

A Lebanese man came up to me, thanked me, and said he was worried sick about his relatives in Lebanon. Just imagine the state Palestinian-Americans must be in!

But here's something worth noting. I think everyone knows that Hillel is the campus organization that is supposed to be for all Jewish students but is really all-in for Zionism and still, AFAIK, wants nothing to do with anti-Zionist Jewish Voice for Peace. Well, right in front of the Hillel residence sits a police car, for protection. Of course all students should be protected and there is a campus police force, so it is curious that this guardian car is a sheriff's police car, not a campus cop car. That might be interesting to investigate.

Full protection for a pro-Israel group that has not been attacked or threated while at the same time every military resource of the US is available for the Israeli slaughter that goes on without end. No protection of any kind for Palestinians in their native land by the nation that claims to be for liberty and justice for all.

I will be out picketing tomorrow, and the day after and the day after. If you are an American who believes in liberty and justice for all, you must do more than write comments. You must stand for the country that sent tens of thousands of Americans to destroy Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, both ethnic cleansers, and is now protecting ethnic cleansing with all its might. SHAME!

Last century there was the "Red Scare" hysteria. While it was true that there were communists in the US, they did not have full control, or even any representation, in Congress, control of the President and Vice-President and the man hoping to be the new President on Nov. 7, Trump. Why aren't Americans in the street filled with outrage?! President Biden a Zionist, Zionism repudiating liberty and justice for all. Our country has been bought, we have been sold out and we sleep!

I never thought America would be considered a pariah state by most of the world... yet here we are. Utterly shameful!

It's greedy predatory men without conscience that are animals, not those that resist such men.

Empire and Israel are thieves and murderers, weaponizing hypocritical crusading religions.

Any 'god' that cared about humanity would have stopped them long ago.
