I feel like I am watching a whole culture, a whole people being destroyed. The world of does not act. The Biden administration will not enforce an arms embargo. The UN will not send troops. Thank you for publishing this report. At least we can bear witness.
The best thing Pope Francis could ever do is to make his stand in Bethlehem. He has an opportunity that is unequalled, to say "no" to genocide. He could even go to the West Bank, Beirut, or even Teheran, and say, “Not in our name, not on our watch.”
Let us make our donations to honor Aaron Bushnell, in memory of Hind Rajab, or Dr Jumann Afra, the mother of newborn twins killed by Israel using US bombs. Now, sorrowfully, we must also add Aysenur Ezgi Egyi and Matt Nelson’s name to our honor roll.
A UN force made up of military from many nations, preferably from the global south, is needed to create a barrier between Israel and Palestinians, and help preserve remaining Palestinian lives. That along with an embargo on arms by western countries, might help.
If the UN could have done anything to stop this, it would have happened in the last year.
Perhaps instead of speculating about how the nation-states which have been either silently watching or actively aiding genocide could suddenly, spontaneously change course, we should focus on what we as people can do ourselves to stop this, not governments.
It is most interesting to witness doctors such as Dr. Safia showing such compassion and courage as we witness the carnage and the genocide at the hands of Israel and its army of pathetic men and women who take delight in putting bullets through little children's brains.
Israeli cowards that use their childish army to perform their evil deeds by killing civilians instead of fighting army to army.
Shame on the USA. I refuse to vote for both sides that support a genocide
Can I put my name on the next clump of WOMD we send to Isteal ....and stick it up Netanyahu arse.

These are a few small things we can do. If we can do more, let us do more.

And they could do that, if the GA would call a Uniting for Peace session and impose sanctions, and initiate a peacekeeping mission.

Thank you for your service, Dr. Hossam Abu Safia. The only service we should be applauding is that of saving lives.
