I’m an independent voter in Ohio. With all the coverage of “swing states”, it’s obvious that non-swing voters don’t count. I voted early in-person. 2/3 of the people running were unopposed Republicans. The Democratic Party cares about Sherrod Brown and absolutely nothing else. The Democratic Party doesn’t recruit people to run for office and when people do the Democratic Party doesnt fund them. Ohio is the most corrupted state in the country and it won’t change if Democrats aren’t doing anything about it. On top of that the national Democratic Party backs Henri Cuellar over Jessica Cisneros. The Democratic Party is chummy with Liz and Dick Cheney while fighting Cori Bush, Jamal Bowman and Pramila Jyapal

Ryan, do you think the U.S. letter to Israel, calling for improved humanitarian conditions, will lead to any actual enforcement of the law after 30 days? And do you think that's why they chose 30 days—so it will be after the election if they decide to take action? (Given that the 30-day deadline seems arbitrary and that the Leahy Law lacks a grace period, I’m curious about your thoughts.)

I thought i had it under control--whoever won, oh well, I was wrong, I'm very anxious. Not sure i have the stomach to watch returns. Compounding that, my sports teams are spiraling downward. Sigh.

I’ve been reading about possible candidates for a Harris cabinet, etc. Have you looked into the possibilities? Any thoughts about what that would look like?

Question: If Kamala wins, how low would her approval ratings have to be in 2027 for the Democrats to embrace primaries again for the 2028 race?

Isn't there a town in the US where the saying, "As goes [this town] so goes the nation?" Is that Allentown? Could you find what that bellwether is and report how it's doing throughout your broadcast?

What will the immediate implications be for Israel’s policies between now and inauguration given either candidate winning? How will the certainty of the incoming president affect their decisions while Biden remains president?

Here's what's really important. What do you think of Pod Save Bro Jon Lovett being the first person voted off of Survivor this current season?

What can/might either candidate enact from the executive branch if they can't get their desired legislation through Congress in the next term? I'm always fuzzy on what can be done via executive order so that seems like the next set of anxieties to look forward to.

What happens if there's an electoral college tie? Also, what do you think will happen if states submit incomplete slates of electors?

@ryanGrim - have you heard anyone put forth the idea that Biden dropping out was always a forgone conclusion for the Dems? Taking a cynical perspective, the Dems would do whatever they thought necessary to give them the best shot to win. BUT, after reading your note last night about "what happens if either candidate wins", could the Dems be doing a rope-a-dope to put forth a bad candidate in Harris to let the GOP continue to implode under Trump then sweep up in '26, '28, etc... ?

I do believe Netanyahu would much prefer a Trump victory. Do you see that too?

It’s interesting to imagine what kind of rapport a woman president would have with these macho-authoritarian misogynist lads (Netanyahu and Putin). Not that I’m assuming her victory, but it’s one of the few novel aspects to ponder with a Harris victory.

Otherwise, feels like 4 more years of Biden.
