I remember well Prof. Sami Al-Arran’s prosecution. I followed it closely because it was such a sham. And was so relieved when they couldn’t find him guilty on any of the charges…Trying to negotiate in good faith with Israel is almost impossible. And Hamas will stay strong I am sure…watched the press conference after the court appearance for Mahmoud Khalil and was disappointed that he wasn’t released yet…sign letters and petitions. There are many you can sign.

Ceasefire or no ceasefire; scam or no, we cannot allow Israel to escape the legal consequences of their war crimes. The Hind Rajab Foundation has, among other things, filed a case with the ICC against 1,000 Israeli soldiers for war crimes in Gaza.

They have taken further steps in recent days, and vacations are becoming a lot more difficult for IDF soldiers, worldwide. The Hind Rajab Foundation can use our help. Please join me in making a contribution.

You might find meaningful to watch the recent interviews that Glenn Greenwald did on his Rumble platform, and Ali Abunimah of the Electronic Intifada, did with the head of this organisation, Dyad Abou Jahjah. It was very informative.

Here's a petition calling for accountability for the arrest of Ali Abunimah in Switzerland:

This was an outstanding interview! Thank you for allowing us to hear this man's views. They make it crystal clear that Netanyahu and the Zionists cannot be trusted, and that US policy towards Israel must change. That has been my personal opinion for quite some time, but I am always eager to learn more about the horrible tragedy that is occurring in Gaza. Will the US ever change its policies? That seems doubtful since the shape of the political landscape in the US is now determined exclusively by money! FREE KHALIL!!

DAWN has urged the ICC prosecutor to investigate and prosecute former President Biden, State Secretary Blinken and Defense Secretary Austin for their personal roles in aiding and abetting Israeli war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide in Gaza as part of his ongoing investigation into the situations in Palestine since 2014.

Let’s give them our support.

I salute Prof. Al-Arian and Mahmoud Khalil and, BTW, Abubaker Abed. I am not a student nor looking for a job. I am a lily white Anglo-American retiree that is appalled at the apathy shown by my fellow Americans to the tight grip of Zionism, an ethnic supremacist ideology that explicitly rejects liberty and justice for all. The hypocrisy of anyone who claims to be for Israel and also an American is epic.

But words can only go so far in opposition to the Zionist takeover of American foreign policy by means of unlimited wealth applied to our corrupt Congress, where every US representative sent to Israel must first of all be a Zionist!

As I have mentioned before and will continue to mention, I am on the street several times every week either at the entrance to Northwestern University or in front of a synagogue whose rabbi and congregation members spoke against my city of Evanston, IL adopting a ceasefire resolution in 2023. I have asked the mayor and city council if they are against ethnic cleansing (Americans all) and silence is the response, so fearful are politicians of falsely being called antisemitic.

Today I wrote President Schill of Northwestern University asking him the question I pose to all Americans - are you for liberty and justice for all or Zionism? I expect what I have usually received, with a single exception, silence.

If any readers are interested in following my street corner vigil, I am at clifbrown.substack.com where there is no subscription charge. I don't want money, I don't want a following, I want activism by my fellow Americans, even as my lifelong boyhood friends have failed to show the loyalty to liberty and justice for all that I thought we all shared.

When what I call "the antisemitism circus" arrives to hold an investigation at NU, I will be there at the entrance arch with my Palestinian flag flying. I have had a wonderful life as an American, now it is time for me to stand for what makes this country great and has been forgotten for Zionism. Though my action has nothing to do with religion, I do as I do in the spirit of Martin Luther's statement of hundreds of years ago: "Here I stand, I can do no other."

It's so good to hear a Palestinian voice, and so well informed. Thank you Sami and Jeremy. It's stunning that Americans and their followers are so willing to trash western values for Zionism and the apartheid Israeli state

thank you brothers, I am a 67 year old American Jewish man. I was raised with all the Zionist mythology but thanks to Norman Finkelstein, Noam Chomsky and yourselves, and since October 7th that has been blown to pieces by the nobility and indominability of the Palestinian people, the bravest people on the planet. Zionism is not Judaism. Free Palestine!

I strongly object to the notion widely embraced on the left that Hamas is a liberation movement. It is just like religious Zionism. It is a religious nationalist movement which ignores the right of self-determination of ALL people living in Israel/Palestine. It engages in the murder of ordinary people just like the Israeli right. It is a model of nothing positive for the Palestinians. Hamas however isn't the problem. The problem is that most of the Moslem countries in the Mideast are stuck in monarchial or strongly man dictatorships whereas Israel up until the triumph of the the religious nationalist right was squarely in the advanced

capitalist present. The major contradiction in the Mideast is economic---backward Moslem countries vs modern capitalist Jewish Israel. Hamas achieved its objectives. It pointed out to the world that Gaza is a concentration camp like prison administered by Israel and led a prisoner revolt. The cost of this revolt is obvious. It isolated Israel in the Mideast and showed the West the true nature of right wing religious nationalist genocidal Zionism. However Hamas has no future in the modern world. It can't liberate the Palestinian people. Palestinian intellectuals should look elsewhere for their plan for that liberation.
