Today's funeral was a display of mourning and a show of strength by Hezbollah at a time of internal crisis in Lebanon and an ultra-belligerent Israeli regime threatening more war.
Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, West Bank, soon Iran and who TF knows who else in the area (Egypt??) is also on Isreal's kill list. They kill with the same impunity Hitler did to those on his hit list.
From what I have read Hassan Nasrallah was a true leader and an intelligent strategist. While I may not have supported all that he did in his lifetime I do respect him as a leader of his people. He was able to achieve alot in his lifetime to stem the spread of ingrained colonial actions.I believe all people should be free in their respective countries to choose their own leaders.
Thank you so much for bringing us the funeral, mourning and great respect given to these brave and beautiful Hezbollah leaders, Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine. Such an enormous loss! Just seeing the numbers gathered and reading the words of strength and heart spoken by the countless Lebanese who support them, like the people of Gaza and Yemen, gives me hope.
The US/Israelis have all the latest AI, drones, and most lethal death machines, but they are essentially cowards, without heart, without soul, and with all the hatred building towards Israel/US around the world - in spite of their insatiable greed and bullying tactics and threats - I believe their days are numbered.
I held my breath this day hoping this funeral would not become another site of Israeli mass slaughter, as has been the case of many another funeral. At least this did not occur, and I really must wonder what has happened that made that not happen.

The way of the world is unknowable.
