I used to think I had a good imagination. I could visualize what I read and heard, and empathize with the feelings expressed. But I cannot, cannot begin to understand what these people have experienced. These words from these journalists bring me as close as I can get. I haven't any words to express my grief and horror. And my admiration for their courage.
What can one say. The humanity of these journalists is their power. Their grief becomes our grief. I’m grateful that this hideous nightmare is ending. The barbarity of the Israelis is unimaginable. There needs to be a reconning, but I despair of its happening.
I feel at a loss to explain to the journalists of Gaza, how much their steadfastness has moved me and how much the world has depended on their courageous work. Here, where I am safe, I also feel tremendous heartbreak for what has been suffered and what you must now face. May you make it until Sunday and beyond and may the world work to hold the occupation accountable for all of the crimes they have committed. I will continue to hope for a free and just Palestine.
What a resilient people Pslestinians be. And while they cry with joy the IDF continue the killing. I'm very skiptical. I hope the new administration has the will to inforce the Israelis from renaging.
I want to tell these Journalists that around the world we are keeping them in our minds and hearts and fervently hoping that the ceasefire will become permanent and that one day soon they will be free and not occupied and abused in the little strip of land - Gaza. I also want them to know that I am aghast that in spite of ordinary people’s many and multiple actions to stop this horror we have been powerless. I would not have believed that we could watch a Genocide happening before our very eyes streamed every day on our devices and not been able to stop it. This has taught me a bitter lesson of the state of our powerlessness in the democracies we live in. But I wish them and all Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and in Israel, peace and safety and future freedom. Viva Palestine !
I really hope this ceasefire will continue. I don`t trust Israel because they lie habitually. But I really, really hope the killing and destruction will stop because Palestinian people deserve to live their lives in peace and freedom.

Yeah, the ceasefire that isn't a ceasefire and the killing goes on...
