I don't even have the words to say how dangerous and discriminatory this is. The US is circling the drain. Leader of the free world, my foot!

Parents pay tuition to schools that do this, even to other students than their own? If so, the real danger here is not the Administration but the families and supporters of students who allow such abuse and betrayal of the essential nature of the Academic Community. Where are their pitchforks and firebrands to storm the bastions of such ignorance and human rights disreguard? Is that their message to their student about why they are in school and in THAT school? Dangerous message. I fear for their child's humanity. Forget the diploma and save that.

"Columbia is a far different place today than it was in the spring of 1968 when protesters took over University buildings amid discontent about the Vietnam War, racism and the University’s proposed expansion into Morningside Park. After a weeklong standoff, New York City Police stormed the campus and arrested more than 700 people. The fallout dogged Columbia for years."

Doesn't seem all that different to me!

From a page that will make you laugh out loud.

DAWN has urged the ICC prosecutor to investigate and prosecute former President Biden, State Secretary Blinken and Defense Secretary Austin for their personal roles in aiding and abetting Israeli war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide in Gaza as part of his ongoing investigation into the situations in Palestine since 2014.

Let’s give them our support.

But university campuses are the exact places where people stand up to the injustices of this world! This is more censorship, something like what went on in Nazi Germany before WW2.

We appear to be headed in the same direction as Germany in 1933!

The students -all students- should(must) protest in solidarity that their right to free speach and expression are being

suppressed.

We cannot allow Israel to escape the legal consequences of their war crimes. The Hind Rajab Foundation has, among other things, filed a case with the ICC against 1,000 Israeli soldiers for war crimes in Gaza.

They have taken further steps in recent days, and vacations are becoming a lot more difficult for IDF soldiers, worldwide. The Hind Rajab Foundation can use our help. Please join me in making a contribution.

You might find meaningful to watch the recent interviews that Glenn Greenwald did on his Rumble platform, and Ali Abunimah of the Electronic Intifada, did with the head of this organisation, Dyad Abou Jahjah. It was very informative.

Here's a petition calling for accountability for the arrest of Ali Abunimah in Switzerland:

The universities are merely the, um, nose under the tent, so to speak. If they are successful in the very places where the First Amendment ought to be cherished and most vigilantly guarded, they will take this show on the road absolutely everywhere. In addition, to all the other craven reasons for supporting that colonial settlement, we can add the total destruction of liberty to those. Was it there all along, or just a happy byproduct for the would-be tyrants?

Something has to be done about the stranglehold the zionist state, largely through AIPAC, has on the entire USA - its governments, institutions, culture, etc. I wish I knew what that something might be. I’m extremely outraged at the hijacking of my country.

Has The Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) in keeping with its stated mission to oversee, “the review and arbitration of all reports of discrimination and discriminatory harassment at Columbia." investigated any reported cases of discrimination against Asian, Black, Hispanic, or Muslim students?

The secret disciplinary process at Columbia University used to punish students who are critical of Israel is un-American and contrary to the First Amendment! College campuses have long been arenas for student protests, dating back to the civil rights movement. To stifle this First Amendment privilege in order to appease pro-Israel Jewish groups is not only a suppression of free speech; it represents the surgical removal of democratic principles!

And when parents stop allowing their children to apply to schools that do not protect free speech, what happens then? Does Columbia University care more about paving the way for Israel's war crimes, creating an environment where a foreign government's desire to ethnically cleanse and kill innocent civilians is more valued than free speech? Is every Columbia professor now looking for a new job, or will they allow their academic integrity to fall with the institution's?

Thanks for this update. Apparently, there is a tandem operation going on, as Barnard is making serious disciplinary moves as well. Let's see some coverage on this as well.
