The fact that this is his first profile I’ve seen in American media is making me weep. Thank you for sharing this. So much love and respect and prayers for Anas 🇵🇸

Thank you, thank all the brave journalists. How can we even use the same term, "journalist," for those, such as Anas, working and risking their lives to get out the truth, as we do for the paid shills of the MSM. Language, apparently has deep inertia and will linger long after the life has left it.

Thank you for your incredible bravery! Please be careful. I am utterly outraged by the apparent indifference of the US government to the slaughter of innocent people in Gaza facilitated by US weapons. It makes me ashamed to be an American!

The American government knows no shame. That this assault on an entire population continues unabated going on nearly a year is unfathomable. But I am ashamed for it is my government enabling these atrocities. I am hurt and sorry for the suffering and your personal loss. This cannot be explained as policy. It is condoned persecution and slaughter.

The intentional targeting and killing of journalists is just one piece of the vicious program of death and destruction that the Israeli Defense Forces pursue with impunity because the international community, particularly the US and Western European countries, permit it out of a misplaced, blind allegiance to Israel. This posture will not atone for or compensate for the Holocaust, but its resemblance is ironic and equally unforgivable. What will it take for nations to produce actions to validate their words?

The support for Israel from US and Western European countries is not "misplaced" or "blind". These are colonizing, white supremacist states which themselves have carried out genocide on a mass scale over the past centuries, continuing into the present. In defending Israel they are defending their own. Organized political opposition to these forces, by any means necessary, is what it will take to stop them.

I understand your observation. Do you think the US and European countries are conscious of this motivation?

If by "countries" you mean the ruling governments, likely some individuals in it are while others aren't. To me, it matters less than if the people ruled by those governments are conscious of it.

Thank you so very very much, but please be careful. You are needed alive!!!!!

There is little one can write after reading this other than thank you for what you do. These are the stories that I pray will be compiled and put into documentaries someday that will be taught to children around the world about why genocide can be perpetrated anywhere. And it’s only the dehumanization of that population which allows it. Telling these journalists’ stories fights back against that very dehumanization.

Anthony Bourdain said "courage is made in Palestine. He was later found dead in his motel room and many people do not believe he killed himself. Indeed the courage of the Palestinian journalists is legendary to my mind as are the Palestinian doctors and nurses who refuse to abandon their patients and the brave men who bring the wounded. These are a strong and incredible people and we must not lose them to the imperialist/colonial state of Israel. Jews are not in Israel because God told them it was time, Jews are in Israel because of the cruelty, lies and deceit that got them there. I think perhaps their god of vengeance might turn on them for their disobedience and willfulness and becoming impatient for a contrived return to a place these Ashkenazi Jews did not come from. Their treatment of the Palestinians since entering Palestine only increases anti-Semitism towards Jews when Jews themselves are the worst anti-semites in the world, for who do they think they are murdering, when the blood of semantic Palestinians flows. Anti-semitism is what the USA is practicing when they sends weapons to aid Israel in a genocide of a semitic people. I give no weight at all to AIPAC or any Jew's claim of others being anti-semitic especially when they cannot look in the mirror to see who the real anti-semites are.

I understand that many of the Israeli settlers are Americans. If so, please show us the evidence dear readers, or where to find it.

I do believe you can look that up yourself and also much published on X about the number of Zionist within the government in high positions. During Bush administration Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney brought in dozens of Zionists and placed in very sensitive positions and then came 9-11. But before that a man named Richard Perle was caught passing sensitive information to Israel. But counterintuitively, he was given a high position in the Bush admin.

Anthony Blinken and the head of the Federal Reserve are Zionists. Do your own research, Marian. The facts are out there but it's much better if you've an independent mind to decide for yourself once you've explored the research done.

Thank You.

I am asking about the settlements and the origin of the settlers on the west bank.

It's in the history books that are not taught in school. Be autodidactic. You will learn more.

Can you provide the title of some of the history books? I would like to educate myself more, and I trust books by scholars more than some online information.

Also look up the origins of the Ashkenazi Jews. Their DNA has no semitic blood.

Your words, your pain and your humanity are seen by many through this journalist's "window". I can't ask you to seek danger, observe horrors...but we need this "window" more each day. Words and images bring life to those who martyred. Thank you for this, Anas. May Gaza and its people rise again.

This is extremely disturbing. What incredible courage and humanity this journalist is exhibiting in the face of death. The journalists standing up for truth with nothing but a vest between them and death are the definition of life against nameless, faceless cowards hiding under layers of military equipment. But I want to get him out of there.
